Miss Prema is a practicing lawyer since 10th December 1998. She obtained her law degree from the University of London and thereafter proceeded to sit for the Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) Examination in Malaysia.
After passing the CLP exams she proceeded to chamber in Messrs. Yusuf Khan and Pathmanathan for a period of nine (9) months. She was called to the Malaysian Bar in December 1998.
She has now obtained a Practicing Certificate which allows her to practice anywhere in West Malaysia and with Special Permission in East Malaysia. She holds a Masters Degree from International Islamic University Malaysia in the area of Banking & Finance (Conventional and Islamic)
